Two campuses, ten minutes of Dehradun apart
The Maduwala campus sits near Bala Sundri Mandir, at the quieter end of the valley, and carries the nursing, allied health, pharmacy and science programmes with their laboratories and clinical arrangements. The Garhi Cantt campus, on Dakra Road near Hawa Ghar, carries commerce, management, computer applications, education and arts. College transport connects both to the main points of the city.
Discipline that is actually enforced
Uniform, attendance and conduct rules exist and are applied. This is not incidental. A nursing student who is casual about attendance is a nursing student who will be casual on a ward, and a college that tolerates the first is preparing them badly for the second. Students find the structure demanding in the first month and useful by the end of the first year.
Sport, culture and the annual calendar
An annual sports meet, indoor and outdoor games through the year, Teachers' Day, a yoga camp on Gandhi Jayanti, and Chetna Utsav — the annual cultural festival that most students remember longest. Eighty-seven per cent of our students take part in something beyond their timetable, which is a figure we watch deliberately.
Support for students from outside Dehradun
A large share of our intake comes from the hill districts — Tehri, Pauri, Chamoli, Uttarkashi — and from towns where a college of this range does not exist. Separate hostel accommodation for women and men, mess facilities, warden supervision and study hours are arranged, and the office helps outstation students settle before the session starts.

Nursing, allied health and pharmacy intakes are capped by the councils that approve them, and they fill early. Apply online, or walk in to either campus and talk to a counsellor — there is no obligation and no charge for the conversation.
