About the programme
Physiotherapy is the science of restoring movement and function. The B.P.T. programme takes you through human anatomy, exercise physiology, biomechanics and kinesiology before moving into the therapeutic disciplines — orthopaedic, neurological, cardio-respiratory and sports physiotherapy.
Practical work runs throughout. Students train in electrotherapy and exercise therapy laboratories, learn assessment protocols and treatment planning, and complete supervised clinical rotations in hospital departments and rehabilitation units.
The degree leads to practice in hospitals, sports academies, rehabilitation centres and private clinics, and is the foundation for an M.P.T. specialisation.
Eligibility
10+2 with Physics, Chemistry and Biology (minimum 45%).
