Scholarships & Concessions
Nine concession heads, with support of up to 100% of tuition depending on category and merit.
Concessions up to 100%
Support is available on category, merit and need. Every head below is assessed at admission against the certificate you produce.
State (Uttarakhand) Domicile
Concession for students holding a valid Uttarakhand domicile certificate, applied over and above any government scholarship the student is eligible for.
Sibling Concession
A fee concession where two or more children of the same family are studying at Nav Chetna in the same session.
Defence Personnel
Concession for the children and dependants of serving and retired defence and paramilitary personnel, on production of the service certificate.
Girl Child
A dedicated concession supporting the education of girl students across all programmes.
Employee Spouse & Child
Fee concession for the spouse and children of Nav Chetna Group of Colleges employees.
SC / ST / OBC
Reserved-category students are assisted with the state post-matric scholarship application and receive institutional support alongside it.
Differently Abled
Concession and campus support for students with disabilities, including examination accommodations where required.
EWS
Support for students from economically weaker sections on production of a valid income certificate.
Sports Merit
Concession for students with district, state or national level achievement in recognised sports.
How to claim a concession
Concessions are applied at the time of admission, not afterwards. Bring the supporting certificate with your application — a domicile certificate, a service certificate, a caste or income certificate, a sports certificate from a recognised body, as the case may be.
The admission office assesses the claim against the category rules and records the approved concession on your admission letter. If more than one head applies to you, the office will tell you which combination gives the better result; heads are not always cumulative.
Government scholarships
Institutional concessions are separate from, and additional to, the state and central government scholarships you may be eligible for — including the Uttarakhand post-matric scholarship for SC, ST and OBC students. The office assists with those applications; the award itself is made by the government, not by the college.
Continuing eligibility
A concession granted in the first year continues in later years subject to satisfactory attendance, conduct and academic progress. Where a concession is merit-based, it is reviewed against results at the end of each year.

Nursing, allied health and pharmacy intakes are capped by the councils that approve them, and they fill early. Apply online, or walk in to either campus and talk to a counsellor — there is no obligation and no charge for the conversation.
