The honours programme extends B.Com by a year and adds depth. Beyond the core accounting and law sequence you take advanced financial management, security analysis and portfolio management, international business and management accounting.
The fourth year carries a research component — a supervised dissertation or industry project — which is what makes the honours degree the stronger foundation for a master's or for research-oriented finance roles.
The four-year structure also aligns with the National Education Policy framework, allowing direct progression to a one-year master's programme.
10+2 with Commerce or any stream; a good aggregate is expected for the honours track.
Indicative subject areas across the programme. The examinable syllabus is set by the affiliating university and is issued at registration.
